Yosl Kurland, a long-time KlezKamper and staff member, sang his own charming Yiddish composition about Moyshe Kapoyer, the legendary Jew who gets everything backwards, at the 2007 Staff Concert. He is accompanied by Pete Sokolow.
Yosl is the long-time leader of Western Massachusetts' klezmer band "The Wholesale Klezmer Band" and his wife, Peggy Davis, and their children Aaron Kurland-Davis and Kayla Kurland-Davis, all integral members of the KlezKamp community, live on their farm called "Gan Eydn."
